Ravioli With Tomato Basil Cream

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (25 ounce) package cheese ravioli
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar alfredo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons wine (optional)
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil (or 1/2 cup fresh basil)
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 prepare ravioli according to package directions, drain and set aside.
  • 2 meanwhile pour alfredo sauce into a saucepan. pour wine into sauce jar, cover and shake.
  • 3 stir wine mixture into saucepan with the chopped tomatoes and basil.
  • 4 cook sauce over medium low heat for 5 minutes or until heated through.
  • 5 toss sauce with ravioli, topping with parmesan and toss again.
