Garlic Sauce (pungent)

Ingredients

  • 5 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 combine garlic, eggs, egg yolk, salt and 1/4 cup olive oil in blender container; cover.
  • 2 blend about 5 seconds.
  • 3 continue blending, adding remaining oil very slowly, as for mayonnaise.
  • 4 this is a thick mayonnaise-like sauce that can be served with pastas, vegetables or bread.
