Pasta W/ Garlic, Tomato, & Basil

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- pasta noodles
- olive oil
- 1 onion
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons dry basil or 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh basil
- 2 large tomatoes or 4 small tomatoes
- salt
Recipe
- 1 start pasta.
- 2 heat up enough olive oil to cover pan (2tbls) over medium heat.
- 3 chop onion and put in oil.
- 4 stir around for a minute.
- 5 add garlic, half of basil, and a few dashes of salt.
- 6 cook in oil until onions are soft.
- 7 reduce heat to medium low.
- 8 add diced tomatoes and rest of basil.
- 9 simmer for only a minute or two.
- 10 you don't want the tomatoes too soft.
- 11 pour over noodles and salt to taste.
