Pasta With Fresh Herbs

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 12 ounces pasta (fettuccine, linguine or fusilli)
  • 1/2 cup minced fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup minced fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon minced chives
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan filled with boiling water, cook pasta, without adding salt or oil, until tender but still firm, about 10-12 minutes; drain.
  • 2 in a food processor, combine parsley, basil, chives, garlic, ricotta, milk, salt and pepper. puree until smooth, about 1 minute.
  • 3 transfer pasta to a large bowl. pour on sauce; toss to combine.
  • 4 serve hot.
