Pasta With Fresh Herbs

Ingredients

- 12 ounces pasta (fettuccine, linguine or fusilli)
- 1/2 cup minced fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup minced fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon minced chives
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 in a large saucepan filled with boiling water, cook pasta, without adding salt or oil, until tender but still firm, about 10-12 minutes; drain.
- 2 in a food processor, combine parsley, basil, chives, garlic, ricotta, milk, salt and pepper. puree until smooth, about 1 minute.
- 3 transfer pasta to a large bowl. pour on sauce; toss to combine.
- 4 serve hot.
