Pasta With Gorgonzola And Sweet Onion

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 large sweet onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 4 ounces gorgonzola, crumbled

Recipe

  • 1 bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  • 2 add pasta, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  • 3 heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  • 4 saute onions until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  • 5 stir in garlic, and cook for 2 minutes.
  • 6 remove from heat, and stir in balsamic vinegar.
  • 7 in a large bowl, combine pasta, onion mixture, and gorgonzola.
  • 8 toss until evenly coated, and cheese is melted.
