Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons quick oats
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 1/3 cups buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Recipe
- 1 combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
- 2 in another bowl beat egg, buttermilk, and oil.
- 3 stir into dry ingredients and mix well.
- 4 pour batter by 1/3 cupfulls onto a lightly greased, hot griddle. turn when bubbles form on the tops of the pancakes. cook until other side is golden brown.
- 5 serve lightly buttered, or with syrup, or just plain!
