Orange Raisin Rice Blend

Ingredients

- 1 cup long grain rice, uncooked
- 2 bouillon cubes, chicken flavor
- 1/2 cup golden raisin
- 2 teaspoons orange rind
- 1/3 cup almonds, slivered
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups water, cold
- 1 tablespoon butter
Recipe
- 1 combine above ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
- 2 turn the heat to high.
- 3 when mixture thickens, reduce heat to medium-low.
- 4 stir once with fork and cover tightly.
- 5 simmer 12-14 minutes, or until all liquid is absorbed.
