Simple Rice Pudding

Total Time: 27 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup short-grain rice
  • 2 cups milk
  • 500 ml prepared custard
  • fruit, of your choice
  • cream, to serve (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 combine rice & milk in a medium saucepan, bring to the boil then reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring often, until milk is absorbed & rice is tender.
  • 2 remove pan from heat and stir in custard. transfer to a bowl, cool slightly, then refrigerate until chilled.
  • 3 serve with fruit & cream.
