Rice Pudding

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 cups 2% low-fat milk
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 dash nutmeg
  • 1 dash cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325.
  • 2 place all ingredients in a 3 quart baking dish, stir until sugar is disolved.
  • 3 bake for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
  • 4 it will thicken as it cools -- best served warm, with ice cream!
