Ingredients

- 8 ounces small uncooked pasta (such as small shells)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 large garlic cloves
- salt and pepper
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen artichoke hearts, thawed
- 1/4 cup pasta water
- parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 bring a pot of water to a boil and add salt.
- 2 add pasta, cook for 8 to.10 minutes, until almost done and drain, reserving 1/4 cup water.
- 3 heat the olive oil and melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- 4 add the garlic, and artichoke hearts and cook 5 minutes, until heated through.
- 5 add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss for a few minutes.
- 6 add pasta water and parmesan cheese to taste and stir thoroughly before serving.
