Pasta With Artichokes In A Buttery Garlic And Olive Oil Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 ounces small uncooked pasta (such as small shells)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 large garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen artichoke hearts, thawed
  • 1/4 cup pasta water
  • parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 bring a pot of water to a boil and add salt.
  • 2 add pasta, cook for 8 to.10 minutes, until almost done and drain, reserving 1/4 cup water.
  • 3 heat the olive oil and melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • 4 add the garlic, and artichoke hearts and cook 5 minutes, until heated through.
  • 5 add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss for a few minutes.
  • 6 add pasta water and parmesan cheese to taste and stir thoroughly before serving.
