Pregnant Soup

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 3 potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 celery ribs
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 14 1/2 ounces stewed tomatoes
  • 14 1/2 ounces corn
  • 14 1/2 ounces peas
  • 14 1/2 ounces green beans
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground beef and onion in frying pan.
  • 2 add all ingredients, including ground beef & onions, to a large pot.
  • 3 bring to a boil.
  • 4 reduce heat to medium.
  • 5 let cook until vegetables are cooked through.
