Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion
- 3 potatoes
- 3 carrots
- 3 celery ribs
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 14 1/2 ounces stewed tomatoes
- 14 1/2 ounces corn
- 14 1/2 ounces peas
- 14 1/2 ounces green beans
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 cups water
Recipe
- 1 brown ground beef and onion in frying pan.
- 2 add all ingredients, including ground beef & onions, to a large pot.
- 3 bring to a boil.
- 4 reduce heat to medium.
- 5 let cook until vegetables are cooked through.
