Rice Waffles

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup rice, cooked and cooled
- 3 egg whites
Recipe
- 1 sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together.
- 2 set aside.
- 3 beat egg yolks until thick.
- 4 slowly add milk, mixing well.
- 5 blend in butter and rice.
- 6 add to dry ingredients.
- 7 mix only until batter is blended.
- 8 beat egg whites until stiff.
- 9 fold into batter.
- 10 cook as a waffle.
