Rice Waffles

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup rice, cooked and cooled
  • 3 egg whites

Recipe

  • 1 sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together.
  • 2 set aside.
  • 3 beat egg yolks until thick.
  • 4 slowly add milk, mixing well.
  • 5 blend in butter and rice.
  • 6 add to dry ingredients.
  • 7 mix only until batter is blended.
  • 8 beat egg whites until stiff.
  • 9 fold into batter.
  • 10 cook as a waffle.
