Rice With Tomato & Basil In Less Than 20 Min

Total Time: 12 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 2 medium roma tomatoes
  • 1 cup basil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 1/4 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 boil 2 1/4 cups of water with olive oil in coveres pan.
  • 2 once water is boiling add rice and salt.
  • 3 bring back to boil and then lower heat to a simmer until water has been consumed.
  • 4 once water consumed turn off heat and add tomato and basil.
  • 5 ready to eat.
  • 6 if you wish you can add any other vegetables you wish.
