Rice Stuffing For Turkey

Ingredients

- 2 cups long grain rice
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup dry sherry
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
Recipe
- 1 cook the rice in 3½ cups water.
- 2 sauté the onion through garlic in the butter.
- 3 combine the rice and onion mixture with raisins through thyme, and mix thoroughly.
- 4 stuff the bird just before cooking.
