Linguine With Creamy Spinach And Ham Sauce

Ingredients

- 2 (9 ounce) packages frozen creamed spinach
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup diced smoked ham
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 (9 ounce) package fresh linguine
Recipe
- 1 thaw spinach in microwave.
- 2 in a large skillet, heat oil. add ham and cook over medium high heat, stirring frequently until lightly browned.
- 3 add garlic and cook 30 seconds. add creamed spinach and whisk in ricotta. cook, stirring, until sauce is heated through, 2 minutes.
- 4 season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- 5 meanwhile, in a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta. drain and transfer to a serving dish.
- 6 pour sauce over pasta and serve.
