Pesto For Noodles

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 cups basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 tablespoons pine nuts
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 place basil leaves in small batches in food processor and whip until well chopped. do about 3/4 cup at a time.
  • 2 to each batch, add about 1/3 the nuts and garlic. blend again.
  • 3 after that, to each batch add about 1/3 of the parmesan cheese; blend while slowly adding about 1/3 of the olive oil, stopping to scrape down sides of container.
  • 4 this forms a thick smooth paste. repeat with more batches until all ingredients are used. mix all batches together and serve over pasta.
