Rice Pudding

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2/3 cup rice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 egg yolk

Recipe

  • 1 mix first six ingredients in a large saucepan over medium heat, bringing to a boil.
  • 2 continue cooking over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring almost constantly.
  • 3 beat egg yolk and milk together, then slowly stir into mixture.
  • 4 remove from heat and serve with cinnamon sugar(optional).
