Rice Pudding

Total Time: 3 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • 5 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup rice
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 grated lemon, rind of

Recipe

  • 1 wash rice.
  • 2 mix all ingredients together and pour into a buttered pudding-dish.
  • 3 bake three hours in very slow oven (250-300 degrees f), stirring three times during first hour of baking to keep the rice from settling to the bottom of the dish.
