Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 1/2 lbs baby portabella mushrooms, washed and sliced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 6 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup wine
- 4 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
- salt, to taste
- parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 melt the butter over medium heat in large sauté pan, add the mushrooms and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 2 add the minced garlic and cook for another 3 minutes.
- 3 add the wine and cook for another 5 minutes.
- 4 add the cream, reduce to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes.
- 5 add salt to taste.
- 6 mix the chopped parsley with the sauce and parmesan cheese.
- 7 serve over meat or pasta.
