Ingredients

- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes (petite)
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups rice
Recipe
- 1 in a saucepan bring tomatoes and their juices, chicken broth( if using a can of chicken broth you won't have the entire 3 cups so just sub. with water), garlic powder, sugar and salt to a boil.
- 2 stiri in the rice reduce heat and cover.
- 3 simmer until rice is cooked through (about 20 minutes).
