Pasta & Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 lb fresh rigatoni pasta
  • 2 cups pre-made marinara sauce
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon shallot, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomato, sliced thin
  • 2 tablespoons sherry wine
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • kosher salt and black pepper, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 cook pasta and drain.
  • 2 bring all other ingredients to a boil and then simmer and introduce cooked pasta and cook until warmed through.
