Portabella Mushroom Sauce

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 large portabella mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup wine
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 ounces alfredo sauce (1 cup)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 rinse and thinly slice mushroom caps.
  • 2 on a low heat, combine wine, parsley, garlic, and mushrooms. stir frequently.
  • 3 sauté 5 minutes or until mushrooms are cooked through.
  • 4 remove skillet from heat. slowly add alfredo sauce.
  • 5 season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 6 pour over pasta, garnish with cheese.
  • 7 serve immediately.
